Everyone loves an accolade and the team at Yorke Construction are no exception. There is nothing like an award to reward hard work and we are always delighted when we are nominated for one – and even more pleased when we go on to win it!
CHELTENHAM'S CIVIC SOCIETY'S CATEGORY FOUR AWARD FOR A NEW OR RESTORED SHOP FRONT: 27 THE PROMENADE
In 2011 Yorke Construction received an award from Cheltenham's Civic Society. 'The conversion of the old Nationwide office into this new shop with its restored front shows it off to its full glory; from.the ironwork, to the carving in the woodwork, to the lighting inside the shop. The panel noted the quality of the workmanship in restoring the front and felt that it brought value to the experience of the Promenade. There have been a number of new commendable shop fronts completed within the last year but this was the one that sets the standard.'
THE BUILDING EXCELLENCE AWARDS FOR BEST HOUSING – SMALL DEVELOPER OR DEVELOPMENT
In 2011 Yorke Construction, in conjunction with Tyack Architects, has been nominated for this prestigious award and we look forward to hearing the outcome in due course.
THE CONTRACT JOURNAL'S 'MOST IMPROVED PERFORMANCE YEAR ON YEAR AWARD' AND 'BEST PLACES TO WORK IN CONSTRUCTION AWARD'
In 2007 Yorke Construction were delighted to receive two awards at the Contract Journal's Awards Ceremony in London. With 39 other firms entered, they were also delighted to be nominated and shortlisted for the category 'Building Contractor 11-50 Staff'.
