Value: £800,000
Brief: The project comprised the restoration and conversion of a former period hotel into high spec luxury apartments and a penthouse suite, in the centre of Stratford upon Avon. The development was also to feature a unique leisure facility in the basement, providing residents with a swimming pool, gym and sauna spa area.
Delivery: Built using traditional construction methods the development comprises nine one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments and a penthouse suite, all refurbished and fitted to a very high quality finish. It is believed to be Stratford's first private residential development to combine a swimming pool and gymnasium with off road parking.
During the works signs of the building's heritage were revealed when a magnificent ballroom was uncovered in its confines. The ornate staircase was also retained within the complex. It is thought that the original house was built around 1833 and became a hotel inthe late 1970s. The apartment development has been renamed Windsor Court.
