This project was a beautifully designed extension and refurbishment to a country house dwelling in Slad, Gloucestershire. A six metre by seven metre double storey extension was constructed using an oak clad steel frame to the ground floor and traditional Cotswold stone walling above. New stone mullioned windows were incorporated, along with bespoke oak French doors to the refurbished kitchen area. The traditional theme was continued by the use of wide board oak flooring throughout, with shelving and bookcases made from the same material and constructed by Yorke Construction's own craftsmen on site.
