This was a sympathetic refurbishment and extension of a traditional Cotswold farmhouse, together with the incorporation of several dilapidated outbuildings. This project relied upon the skills of Yorke Construction 's own craftsmen throughout, and every detail required perfection. The external walls were of Cotswold stone construction and the vaulted ceiling in the main living area showed off the large exposed timber roof trusses. The hand built kitchen was supplied by Parlour Farm and was finished with solid granite worktops. Internally the flooring was either top grade oak or natural stone, laid over a wet underfloor heating system.
